The aircraft leasing companies owned 45% of the global airliner fleet, and the growth in air travel in the Asia Pacific region is driving the rapid growth in the number of low cost airlines and their fleet sizes. The competition between lessors are intense, as successful low cost carriers have developed the market clout, credit worthiness and fleet sizes to demand that the aircraft be configured exactly as required upon redelivery, ready to enter revenue service immediately. For second and third lease aircraft, this may involve interior reconfiguration to match the operator’s fleet LOPA whereas first lease aircraft may already be configured at factory. All placements will however require livery changes to reflect the new operator.
GVH Aerospace supports the lessors with redeliveries, from complex LOPA changes to simple livery modifications. The Airbus A320 livery and placard changes are delivered in short turn-around time to meet the aggressive redelivery schedule, as EASA and/or FAA approved modifications. The livery changes can include external and internal placards as required, including dual language placards in multiple languages including different Asian scripts.
