As air travel become more common, customer expectations have also grown. For countries with cities separated by long distances, air transport is the only practical means for leisure travel. This builds brand loyalty and creates differentiation with low cost competitors.
GVH Aerospace was presented with the challenge of designing a baby bassinet system for the customer’s entire fleet of aircraft. GVH Aerospace designed a modified bulkhead with fixing inserts to install the baby bassinet, and provision a total of 7 mounting positions on the customer’s Boeing 747-400 aircraft. GVH Aerospace also provisioned mounting locations on 5 positions in the customers’ Boeing 777-200 aircraft, and two mounting positions on the customer’s mixed fleet of Boeing 737-300, -400, -500 and -800 aircraft.
