GVH Aerospace AeroStretcher Mk IV Equips Italian Guardia di Finanza ATR 72-600MP Maritime Patrol Aircraft

GVH Aerospace and its Italian partner and distributor, M.P.G. Instruments s.r.l. are pleased to be selected by Leonardo to supply the AeroStretcher® Mk IV Modular Aeromedical System for the Italian Guardia di Finanza ATR 72-600MP aircraft. The AeroStretcher® Mk IV system provides the Guardia di Finanza’s ATR 72-600MP with a rapid role change capability to convert the aircraft into aeromedical evacuation role. The Guardia di Finanza is Italy’s primary agency for suppressing the illegal drug trade and smuggling, and it’s fleet of aircraft were heavily involved in the Italian Government’s COVID-19 response.
The Guardia di Finanza will acquire a fleet of four ATR 72-600MP aircraft, the first of which was delivered with the AeroStretcher® Mk IV system in late 2019. The remaining aircraft will be delivered between 2020 and 2022.
GVH Aerospace Completes AML STC for Zero-Pax LOPA for A320 and B737 Family

GVH Aerospace is pleased to announce the immediate availability of EASA STC 10073343 for Zero Pax LOPA configuration. This AML STC is applicable to all models of A318/A319/A320/A321 and Boeing 737, from the oldest models including the 737 Classic to the latest A320NEO and 737 Max aircraft.
GVH Aerospace provides airlines and lessors with a broad range of services including aircraft lease transition modifications, CAMO and project management.
GVH Aerospace Provides Airline Pax-to-Cargo COVID-19 Solution

GVH Aerospace has been working closely with aviation regulators to design passenger-to-cargo conversions for airlines in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic. This rapid pax-to-cargo conversion provides airlines with two options for carrying medical supplies, the first involving carriage of cargo on seats and requires no aircraft modification, and the second involving carriage of cargo on the cabin floor following seat removal.
Our EASA approved solutions will be entering into service with airlines imminently.

COVID-19 has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation and as part of the Nova Group, GVH Aerospace has taken considered actions to protect our people from the evolving global situation of the spread of COVID-19. As a global business, the health and well being of our people, their families, our clients and our community is our first priority.
Across our offices globally, we have adopted official government alerts and guidance regarding travel, self- isolation and business continuity practices and taken additional steps to minimise the potential impact.
Within our operating sites, our response is ahead of the national Government guidance, and has been implemented to ensure our business remains at the forefront of this complex situation. We are committed to sustaining business operations and this is key to the resilience of our client network and employment community.
We have implemented additional measures in alignment with Government guidance include:
- Suspension of all travel to China, Hong Kong, Macau, Iran, Northern Italy and South Korea
- Suspension of travel between office locations
- Immediate isolation of staff exposed to suspected close contact
- Mandatory 14-day self-isolation for any staff returning home from abroad
- Reduced staffing of our offices for essential services, or staffed on a controlled roster basis, enabling in-office social distancing
- Implementation of Work-From-Home measures
- Suspension of employer-initiated social or non-work-related gatherings in affected locations or region
- Limitation of face-to-face meetings at our sites to <6 persons
- Site visitor screening and control measures
We are continuing to work with our suppliers to monitor any potential disruptions to our supply chain as the situation develops.
GVH Aerospace Help Transition ex-Thomas Cook A321

The failure of Thomas Cook Airline was a sad day for the aviation industry. GVH Aerospace helped the affected lessors with the quick transition of 6 Airbus A321 aircraft to an Asian low cost airline. The transition package included temporary aircraft registration to facilitate the aircraft movement, new dual-language interior placards, livery and data plates, all supplied as a lease transition service bulletin complete with the kit parts.
Airline failures are traumatic events for everyone involved. GVH Aerospace strive to make the process of finding new homes for these orphaned aircraft as painlessly as possible. GVH Aerospace provides a turn-key transition package including CAMO services and parts.
